Project 10 Pan and Update on Makeup Storage

I was so excited about organizing my makeup back in August, however my plan backfired. I couldn't find the storage piece I wanted, and the one I did find totally sucked. Needless to say, I took it back to the store and got my money back. I am still on a hunt to find the perfect storage unit. Once I do find it, I will definitely share with all of...oh wait! No one reads this but me!!! LOL!! Okay, so I will document this for my personal reference. HA!!

On to other things! I have decided that I have way too much makeup and I am attempting...yes, attempting to take part in Project 10 Pan. For those of you (I know..I am pretending that maybe someone out there will read this) who don't know what Project 10 Pan is; I will explain. It's very simple: You can't make any makeup purchases until you've completely used up at least 10 makeup products!! Yes, I am insane! Do you have any idea how hard this is for me?????? It's been over 1 week now, and the shakes are almost gone!! LOL!

This is where I will come to document my Project 10 Pan Journey. Let's begin!!

Makeup Collection and Storage

So my makeup collection is absolutely ridiculous! What I mean is...it's freakin huge and I have several storage areas for it. What ends up happening to me is that since I have stuff everywhere, I forget about the products I already have. I go out to Sephora, Ulta, or MAC or the drugstore and then end up coming home with something I already have. Does that ever happen to you? I hate that!

Last Sunday night, my husband and kids were out the house. I swear....it was the greatest night ever! Finally some peace and quiet! I did my nails and watched Youtube videos about....guess what? Makeup Collection and Storage videos. There were so many great ideas, but there was one that stood out the most. Anyway, it was as if the heavens opened up! All of a sudden, I heard harps and a choir in the background! ALELUYAH!!!! This is it! That is exactly what I need for my makeup collection! It's a media storage armoire! I wanted to go out and buy it right away! I am going to buy one this weekend at Meijer. For those who don't have a Meijer store; it's a lot like Walmart.

I can't wait to put it together and organize all of my stuff. I will be sure to post Before and After pictures when it's all complete.
